Sounds like the Win95 49.7 day bug.

 2^32 ms = 49.7 days (where Win95 lost track of time)
 2^32 /100 = 248.55 days

So presumably it's counting the 1/100ths of a second that go by in a
32-bit number. It's probably a bigger achievement that it's been up
that long :)
