Hello,

I'm trying out Trepia under sid with wine ver 20030508-1

For those of you that don't know Trepia is a new IM program that randomly hooks you up with
people nearby with similar interests. It scan local networks first then works it's way out.

After copying in all the .dll's and vxd files form a win98 install it seems to run pretty well.
I tried creating an account but it said it could not do so as I am offline.

I've never actually got as far as needing to use the net under wine before so I am unsure what
to do here.

Is there something I need to do to let wine applications access the world or do I need to fool
this app somehow?

btw I connect using a ethernet card and class c IP assigned by my billion modem.

regards,

Chris Caston
