[plug] Knoppix 3.2

Hi all,
Just finished pulling down v3.2 of Knoppix from files.bigpond.com at work,
and put it into my laptop to boot up.

When I got the "boot:" prompt, I typed knoppix lang=us as it suggested,
however it seemed to freeze on:
Probing SCSI... aic7xxx.o, which was the first thing it did after I entered
'knoppix lang=us'

Note: using a Toshiba Satellite 3000 laptop.

Any ideas?
