Actually, on re-reading the post in question there wasn't that much info 
there, though you can always look up Yellow Dog Linux on google and find 
their website.

I suggest that for starters, you download  the ISO images from
http://public.planetmirror.com/pub/linux/yellowdog/yellowdog-3.0/iso/
or another mirror site, then burn them to CD-ROM. The information on the 
CDs and on the Yellow Dog Linux website:
http://www.yellowdoglinux.com/
should get you started. If not - try it, then ask for help, including 
details about what the problem you're having is. The more info in the 
question, the better the likely answers.

If you can't download the ISOs, ask nicely and someone on the list will 
probably download them and burn copies for you.
