[plug] gmplayer compilation probs (deb help2)

G'day all!

Has anyone compiled MPlayer with the gui option enabled successfully on 
woody r1? I get the error that it can't find gtk installed, but gtk 
certainly is installed, 1.2.10, and it requires 1.2.x. I figure it's 
probably just that debian has the config files in a different place to where 
it normally would look for it in the configure script (/etc I assume), but 
that's just me being John. ;)

Any tips, greatly appreciated (standard mplayer runs fine thankfully). :)
