Hmmm, wouldn't changing the GPL (or whatever licence Linux happened to be 
subsequently put under) stop the whole FREE (as in speach) part of it.

Also it wouldn't work, as current versions would still be subject to current 
licence so that wouldn't stop them using it.

Whether or not (insert anyone's name here) agrees on military action in Iraq 
should not be a reason to change Licencing agreements for software they 
write.  I am TOTALLY opposed to the action taken by the US, UK and Australia 
in Iraq (and generally ANY MILITARY ACTION) but I still don't agree that this 
is reason to change software licencing.

I too refuse to fuck off.
