[plug] apt-get errors

This is what I was wondering, so I guess the easy way of fixing this is to un install the program and reinstall it. Mind you this is on a RH system.

Have you jun what the error tells you?
that is do an "apt-get update"?
it's likely that apt's database has gone missing.
