Hello

I didn't get to Hamburg for the first OpenOffice.org Conference, but those
that did are beginning to share their presentation and pictures on the
OpenOffice.org web site:

http://marketing.openoffice.org/conference/impressions.html
(It is not complete as yet, but most of the presentations are there as PDFs.)

Other news snippets:

- OpenOffice.org has become the default office suite for Linux distributions
- New SDK to be released soon that will allow developers to build 3rd party
modules on top of OpenOffice.org and integrate them with the suite.
- New scripting framework to be integrated into 1.1beta2 (available as
a separate download now)
- Started a list of 3rd party addons
http://openoffice.ca/vendors/add_on_modules/document_view
- Need more developers (C++, Java, Python, OpenOffice.org Basic, XSLT)

All the best
Jacqueline McNally
