[plug] Mplayer and the playback of Encrypted DVDs

Solved my own problem (who said insomnia didn't have its good points :))

It turns out the default audio driver for gui.conf was different from 
mplayer.conf.  oh well I must look like an idiot :(
all this still doesn't explain why I couldn't get SuSE's to install, but I'm 
happy with my self compiled version.

Time to watch a DVD in celebration :)
