I have a 486SX/25 laptop with 8MB of RAM that runs as my router connected
to the WaFreeNet (www.wafreenet.org)

Does 400kByte/s sustained with latency of 5-10ms count as broadbandish?

It even runs rrdtool happily to give me statistics on signal/noise and
bandwidth.

Suffice to say it's not running Mandrake :)
