You might find this useful in getting around Perth and suburbs if you are

It lists timetables for bus routes and trains in the metro area. It also has 
a journey planner so you can find out which bus routes service your 
neighbourhood and what bus(es) to catch to get to where you want to go.

This might help with figuring out geographic relationships
