[plug] [OT] Managed switch - Question

Silly question perhaps, but what is the difference between a managed switch,
unmanaged switch, and a hub?

I understand that, in general terms, switches route data to the intended
source's port on the switch, whereas a hub broadcasts it to all ports on the
hub, but I am not completely sure what "managed" means and the difference
between and unmanaged switch and a hub.

Get one at IT Wholesale SMC Tiger Switches they have various switches and I
know some of them are managed type.

Hello,

I am looking for a managed switch, perhaps a netgear or such with around
32 ports.

Where can I get equipment of this caliber wholesale?
