[plug] Recommended sound card

Hello,

I'm considering buying a new sound card because I've been having issues
getting my current one to work with ALSA or delivering both channels
when using OSS, making SIP calls tantalisingly just out of reach.

So what is a good card to buy to overcome the above?

Cheaper is most preferable.
