Speaking of large terminals, I just made a discovery while working at
flat-screen CRT. I can place transparent films against the glass and
they are illuminated by what's on the screen. DUH. This is especially
helpful when I wish to check registration of a screen image against the
original films. DUH. You'd think after a year of working with X-ray
hospital films and then a year producing slow-exposure chemiluminescence
films I would have thought of this earlier. I *really* wish I'm worked
this out several months ago. My only excuse is that the same is not true
when working with 35mm slides. Oh well, at least I can cross this item
off my mental 'wish list' now ;-)
