[plug] cancelling a CUPS print job

We have cups working on a parallel printer. When we have this problem we type as 
root lprm - and turn off the printer. Everything works fine.

I don't have any technical details as Leon Brooks set it all up. I do recall 
that the only problem that we had was that cups did not pass through the printer 
control characters initially, so that we couldn't vary the fonts etc..

There was a one line mod to correct this.

Other than that it basically works flawlessly, day in and day out.
