Ah -- I didn't realise this situation is allowed to arise! Maybe you
could just installed the deb yourself with dpkg. Alternatively, perhaps
the 'responsible' way to install it is to add stable to your
sources.list and have a simple /etc/apt/preferences file something
like this:

Package: *
Pin: release a=testing
Pin-Priority: 900

Package: *
Pin: release a=stable
Pin-Priority: 800
