Adam,
I wouldnt assume that getting a "better" mouse is the answer.
Where is the RSI? In your wrist? How do you hold and move the mouse?

(IANA physio or OT, but..) you could set the mouse to high sensitivity,
so only small movements are needed. Then rest the base of your hand
on the desk and move the mouse with fingers only. It works for me.
An optical mouse is best, and definitely not an old serial mouse.

You can buy optical mini-mice for that purpose.
Its sounds like you might need expert advice though.
