This is going to sound weird...a pair of LaTeX^Wlatex (or other) gloves
can be of assistance. Gives you time to react, as well as extending your
handling capabilities in a number of ways. The thing I like most is that
they keep all the dust and gunk off your hands. I like avoiding dust all
over my hands. Very satisfying.
