ROFL... I've had the same experience.  All of our desktop computers here 
are Athlons, well a couple are now Celeries after killing the Athlons.

Yeah, I burnt my hand on one that had done the same.  Had a nice pattern 
of red burn marks on my hand for a couple of days afterwards.
