[plug] Thank's for your help Re: Modems

Thank you all for your input about modems.  You have given me something to
think about.  I will try using my present D-Link ADSL 200 USB modem first.
 If that does not work I will try something else.  I have a feeling that
delving into Linux is going to teach me a great deal about tolerance and
patience.  To virtues of mine that can stand some improving :-)
