Being left handed myself I can say that it is much easier to keep the right
handed layout than to swap. I can go to any computer and use the mouse
(with my left hand) and not have to think about button configuration.

What does grip me is mice with a designed in handedness. Try finding a LH
form of some trackballs etc... yes the manufacturer lists them... just try
finding someone who stocks them, even at the wholesale level. They may as
well not exist :(. The LH forms of mice that are available may as well be
blocks of soap... er... you may detect a slight dislike for mice in general
as pointing devices here :)... none are well thought out. Give me a
digitiser pad any day
