[plug] Controversial comparison of package management systems

Hi,

As a developer, I'm used to building .debs for Linux, ports for BSDs and
SVR4 packages for Solaris. If I wanted to dabble in RPMs (to see what
all the fuss is about and get a gut feeling for RPM), where would I
look? Is RedHat still the place to go to find out about RPMs -- anyone
have any good URLs or hints (I have no working knowledge of RedHat other
than what I've heard on this list)?
