IT has it's downsides - It's often slow, and it gobbles memory like you 
wouldn't believe. Try using imagemagick to make thumbnails of a 200MB 
directory full of hi-res JPEG images. I had to raise my virtual memory 
ulimit above 2 gigs to allow it to complete successfully. If you aim it 
at EPS images... *shudder*.
