Dear PLUG list members,
I've just had a semi-official word from the D-Link folks in Oz that support
for DSL-200 (a USB ADSL modem) can be found at http://eciadsl.sourceforge.net/
Background:
Several threads ago there was discussion of a small, cheap box (literally!)
that Netway is selling. Part of the thread involved its use as a low-end
firewall/NAT/etc box. It has only one NIC but it has two USB (version 1.0
compliant) ports, meaning that for ADSL/NAT/firewall use I'd need a driver
for USB-ADSL. Hence the query to D-Link and the answer as above.
Hope this may be of use/interest to someone,
Denis
PS I've bought one as a test bed for several ideas I'd like to try. Anyone
got Linux onto one of these yet? Sounds like Cameron might have.
