What theyre saying in a round about way is have as many tapes as you need to 
go back as far as you want :)

Eg, if you want to do a full backup once a day, and be able to go back 2 
weeks, you'll need 14 tapes. If you want to be able to go back 3 weeks, 
you'll need 21 tapes.

Not hard, just worded poorly.
