[plug] USB Cameras for mounting in a vehicle

I haven't had much luck with usb cameras and Linux myself. I bought a
webcam (can't remember what its called, used the qce driver patch) that
cost $40. In winbloze it worked at 30fps 640x480 but in Linux i was
lucky to get 2fps.
I don't think a usb camera will work for you though because of the
scanning speed(aperture rate) or whatever it is. If you look at my
pictures, the cars are going 60-70kmh and they have distorted views. It
looks like they are being sucked into a wormhole : ) I think because it
scans from top to bottom and not all that fast.
I have planned on buying a better usb cam. Also plan on hooking up an
old movie camera to my capture card at work but i need to drill a hole
in the wall for the cables.
