I thought having ide-scsi loaded would cause cdrecord it to use the 
generic scsi (sg) module which I thought used ide-scsi. I guess I'll work 
it out some time.

Don't usually use a front end except for the dvd riping.

I'm just curious as I have a ide-scsi=hxx on my boot line and believe 
that ide-scsi is depricated.
