In the spirit of experimentation ( 'cos I know that quote handling is an
issue.. ) I tried this on Cygwin.

It thinks the meaning of life is 104 as well, with each word being passed
separately, despite the single quotes.

But then, that's because it's using the DLLs for the cmd prompt on XP,
right?

Is this a shell dependent thing? ( i.e. can someone test something other
than bash or derivatives? )

Regards,

tom.
