Try the win32 application "cdroller". http://www.cdroller.com/
I successfully able to recover about 3 months work from a sign making
company using this app. Their machine had been formatted by one of their
junior workers and they couldn't read from their last backup.Amazingly
this program was able to recover it.
I also bought something called CD Data Rescue but that wasn't able to
recover nearly as well.
