Yup, it happened on a boards with VIA KT133 and VIA KT266A chipsets for 
me.  It especially happened when you were copying large amounts of data 
around your computer or onto/off of your hard disk whilst using the 
sound card.

Of course VIA were supposed to fix the issue with god knows how many 
different updated versions of their drivers.. but it never did.  I'll 
never buy a VIA based board running Windows ever again.

If I go AMD again, it'll be with an nforce based board.
