By "screen dump" I assume you mean a picture of the screen.. You could
use GIMP to do this. Tell gimp to take the shot in 10 secs, that will
give you time to minimise GIMP and capture galeon.. Make the galeon
screen the active screen by clicking on it though.

There is other screen capturers, but GIMP jumped to mind first..
