Install xprt-xprintorg and restart your X session?  (The -xprintorg
one is the non-broken Xprint implementation.  I believe it's installed
by default on current sarge, but you never know.  It still doesn't
seem to be able to work out which printer I've set as the default in
CUPS and use that, but it kinda works.)

Or you could do what Craig said.
