Implying that UW is better?  Last time I used it, it didn't do locking
properly so concurrent access to a given folder could easily corrupt
mail.  Fun!

I've never had major problems with Courier IMAP or POP3.  The main
downside that I've found is that Courier is far from fast (although
still much better than UW).

I'm not sure that dovecot does shared folders (which are probably
something that James wants to have).
