I already haven't enabled ccache and I know that it works without 
distcc. I really want distcc as the box is slow and limited on memory 
compared to others on the network.

It appears to be just some. Possible those that actually take advantage 
of distcc.

I am running version 2.13-r1 and will try upgrading soon.
