[plug] Accessing VTs over 12

I have a rather unfortunate situation where I have run out of VTs.

Due to different reasons since booting my box the VT the Xserver is
running on has been pushed further and further along.
It starts on VT 9 as I have some log monitors running on 7 & 8. Then
when it crashed it left some output on VT 9 so next time I started it
(well gdm started it) it was put on 10 as 9 was 'in use' and then after
another crash it went to 11. 12 is occupied by a monitor program (for
FAH) so on the next crash it started on 13. This was fine until I
switched to another VT and then couldn't get back (which I didn't
discover until for a few days due to Christmas activities.

I have since restarted gdm (as firefox had hogged lots of memory and the
Xserver had stopped responding (over VNC) so I just killed it. This time
it started it on VT 10 so I can access it again.

Now for future reference how can I switch to a VT > 12?
I want to know this so that next time I can get back to my X session. I
would also love to know it so I can put script output on different VTs
(I could put them on screens but that requires logging in and connecting
to some screen out of the 10 or so and just takes time.)

Just in case someone makes the comment, no my keyboard doesn't have F
keys above F12 and no I'm not going to but one with more F keys (or any
extra keys.) It is a standard 107 (i think) keyboard with a Win key, a
Menu Key, and the 3 ACPI power keys.

Thanks

Tim
