HI list,

I am trying to copy a dvd to vcd. I have found a good guide at

   http://www.bunkus.org/dvdripping4linux/en/separate/index.htm

but it is almost more than I need (a lot of detail). Also it is mostly about
going from dvd to avi files.

I have installed dvd::rip -- which gives error messages. Fortunately
it gives that commands that it is executing so you can track down
the problem. However so far this problem seems too hard to me.

How do other people go about making copies of dvds on vcd.?

Here is the error message that dvd::rip gives -- i case it means anything to anyone

                                                              bye
