 Late afternoon  All,

 Successfully installed Debian Sid (so far)
 made the following changes this afternoon
 added bluefish HTML editor
 Updated the Kernel from 2.4.18bf24 to 2.4.24-1-k7-I & in the proccess seem to have
 lost the eth0 connection so looked at /var/log/syslog discovered a few conflicts
 (should be sorted)  ie;

 How do we correct this as I am out of my depth, my knowledge is not up to this.

 The eth0 question I remember but have misplaced the info please remind me as to how we
 fixed this.

 The new system is
 AMD 2000+
 m/board   A7V600
 512 MB memory
 80G disk
 Radeon 9200 video card
 4KUS DVD-ROM
 ethernet card

 Thanks,

 Laurie
