Like many programs these days (esp Mozilla and it's family), Abiword
uses a wrapper script to set up the environment, etc. This makes
debugging it and getting useful crash reports out of it really
irritating. Most likely, AbiWord will have segfaulted, but without
manually setting up the environment then running the abiword executable
directly, it's hard to be sure.
