Generally I would think that the answer is "no" because, by definition,
the machine has experienced an unrecoverable, fatal error (i.e. kernel
panic). In this event, the system is too screwed to be able to continue,
or continuing could be hazardous to the health of your data. However, a
kernel debugger might let you do various things in your favour (if you
are an experienced kernel hacker) but this is at your discretion and
it's your fault if you make things worse :) On the other hand, there is
a very slim chance that the panic routines were invoked "needlessly" :)
