I'm a bit surprised that nvi doesn't install itself into /bin[1], though -
having edited an /etc/fstab with ed not that long ago, it would have
have been handy to have.  I wonder if it merits a Debian bug being filed
somewhere...

/does/ have a vi in /bin, more power to you.
