[plug] Hard Drive cannot read ANY IDEAS?

Evening all

A little curly one, while doing upgrades for friends I was give 6 newish
looking Seagae and WD 10gb and 8gb respectivelly. Problem being they
cannot be read or used by any OS linux included. Just a wondering if some
one has a solution to free these little buggers as they could be very
usefull in workstation and firewall + gateway machines?

Any help much appreciated.
