Neither am I and I have two. It's a common misconception that 
the .org/.com/.net domains are American - they're not (there *is* a largely 
unused .us domain for that purpose).

They were originally set up for international organisations, but were subject 
to a "land grab" shortly afterwards. That doesn't affect the original intention 
though.
