Well, I'll try to act as a responsible netizen, IMHO.

Since the .com was already taken (once again :-) all I needed, IMHO, was
.com.au, which ruled out half of the above.
And the one I found was cheapest, IMHO, was netregistry.com.au:
AU$60 + AU$6 GST = AU$66 for two years.
So it's done. Once again thanks for the help and the, IMHO,
intellectually stimulating discussions.
