Did you even read the patent?
It isnt double-clicking that has been patented, it is time sensitive
pressing with regard to limited resource devices. Think pdas and ipods.
Not computers per-se.
Basically it is a patent on if you press button for 1s you get x app. if
you press for 3s you get y app etc.
