[plug] how ,do you load a module on boot in Mandrake 10?

I´m trying to load a module called cdc-acm, so how would I put that into 
  /etc/modprobe.preload ?

Would it be a case of editing the file and putting the line ¨cdc-acm¨ in 
it somewhere?
