I looked through that output, but didn't see the part that told me
how to read my e-mail ;-P

The commands:
    man -k keyword      lists commands relevant to a keyword
    man command         prints out the manual pages for a command
are helpful; other basic commands are:

openvms$ help

HELP

   The   HELP   command   invokes   the  HELP  Facility  to  display
   information about a command or topic.  In response to the "Topic?"
   prompt, you can:

openbsd% help
HELP(1)                    OpenBSD Reference Manual                    HELP(1)

NAME
     help - help for new users and administrators

DESCRIPTION
     This document is meant to familiarize new users and system administrators
     with OpenBSD and, if necessary, UNIX in general.
