Hi Folks,
I found this old article yesterday when googling for some info: http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/4/35588.html
It seems to me that the guy(Thomas C Greene) is bit harsh on Xandros, but some of the points he makes are rather difficult to argue with, though. Well, he is quite right about one thing: Xandros 2.0 does not come with an installed firewall as a part of the package. And above all they do not tell you much about it, which IMHO, does not give them any credit. However, it is not very difficult to install one; all what's required is to go to Xandros Networks -> Edit -> Update List -> type firestarter in the search box -> click Search and follow the process. Or go to http://firestarter.sourceforge.net and download it from there. Sounds easy, if you know what to do. RTFM is not much of a help here, as it covers the subject very vaguely.
Anyway, that's my fistful of grain to the communal mills.
                                                                                      Regards
                                                                                                   Milan Pospisil
