Ahhh, so it does. Well at least the initrd contains 80 or so modules
in /lib/modules/.../drivers/net, which was more than the original :)

The completed universal netboot CD is at
http://dagobah.ucc.asn.au/netboot-cd.iso . This allows you to
network-boot any machine with a CD-ROM drive and a network card
supported by GRUB. It's not much use without a netboot server
though :)
