[plug] Linux External Modem

Have ALWAYS had succes with serial ext modems (and if
you got the port why not use them)
you can ALWYS see whats going on and easy to
disconnect

meastro's 
lightspeeds
netcomms

just be careful if you EVEN THINK its a winmodem
(possable to do but MORE headaches)

simple test live cd in the shop with modem connected
minicom
at
or
at&v
that works everything should be fine :)
(rockwell and hays the defacto standard)
