Can anybody help me out please , is there any where in Perth I can get
hands on training/coaching in using Linux Fedora Core2 ( soon to be 3),
I have been perservering with the system for a year now on my own but
have reached the stage where my system knowledge and expertese needs
some guidance .

I love the system which I went to as a result of a magazine cd , several
consequential upgrades and several bad Windows XP experiences.

My perserverence has got me over the basics such as rpm installation ,
tarball installation, multimedia management , file creation etc and
directory management but I am now in a rut as I want to move to the next
step and feel like I have hit a brick wall.

I have the usual O'Reillys ,Wrox and RedHat for dummies manuals but have
got to the point that I can't comprehend the instruction sufficiently to
implement it however I know that if I am shown it will all fall into place.

I would like to learn the more intermediate skills such as compiling
kernels , finding how to fix broken packages etc without using
synaptic,manage and create databases.

I hope you understand where I am coming from, from one year of computer
ownership I have grown from a 43 year old technophobe to a confident
Linux user .

What I currently have is basically a top grade multimedia platform with
several nice additional applications for day to day stuff , what I want
to do is really harness the power of my computer and grow as a Linux user.

I would greatly appreciate any input,

Thanks

Christopher Whittaker
